ICW would like to congratulate Joan Chamungu, ICW member from Tanzania, who has been appointed as one of the ten commissioners to the Tanzania Comission for AIDS (TACAIDS). She will be representing people living with HIV/AIDs. We wish her all the very best in her position. It is wonderful news that the Tanzanian Government is taking the position of HIV positive women seriously and it is also recognition of all the work Joan has done already in raising the issues with policy makers.
