ICW responds to criticism from US Senator Tom Coburn
You may have heard that on May 19, US Senator Tom Coburn wrote to President George W. Bush, in a letter which makes a series of inaccurate statements about ICW.

Perhaps the most surprising is that ICW was set up "to take advantage of PEPFAR funding". This is clearly not the case, given that President Bush's PEPFAR funding for HIV/AIDS was not in existence thirteen years ago when ICW was founded in 1992 by an international group of HIV positive women.
